On July 29th we closed the Small rural communities in action – ProActive Rural project, implemented by the INSERT Innovation and Resources Association in cooperation with the Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation (SZKA) and the Hungarian Association of Community Developers (KÖFE).

At the closing event, Rozália Csáki, Executive Director of SZKA, welcomed all the community developers who had participated in the training. They were asked to present their starting and ending point during the project, their own plans and the actual status.

After the presentations, Aranka Molnár, representative of KÖFE, gave each participants different task asking them specifically to collaborate as much as they can.

Aranka also talked about how much easier would be the whole process if they could pass on all the useful teaching methods. Teamwork has a bigger impact and always gives hope to the communities. The trainers would like to bring this approach to as many places/cases as possible. According to them a whole community, or an NGO or institution can be managed this way.

We wish all the six participating teams continued success in building an active and involved community.
