We organized a workshop consisting of six occasions about filmmaking for our NGO-s during the last few month. The reason is the introduction of a new way of financial settlement according to which NGO-s are asked to present a short film about the impact of the sum on the community they financed.
To get acquainted with the basics of filmmaking, we invited two specialists, Fecső Zoltán şi Szabó Károly who both volunteered to share their experinece in filmmaking with the public.
Specialists gave a short and clear introduction on the basics of filmmaking emphasizing the practical part during the workshops. Participants could see through the example of their own pics how can one follow a composition during the process of filmmaking.
After presenting the images, they talked about how these images can be aranged to give a clear and interesting result. The use of cropping and the use of many angles during the shooting porcess are recommended. It is also important that the first scenes of a film should present the protagonists and their medium, and only afterpresenting these basic elements comes the relevant information. During the last meeting participants got some information about the basics of film editing as well.
