Our SMS Fundraising campaign ended in the middle of January. A total of 650 messages were sent which means a donation of 1300 Euros for our Friendly hospital program. We intend to use this sum to create a friendlier atmosphere for young patients of the pediatric and infectious departments of the hospital in Odorheiu Secuiesc and to set up a playground in the court of the hospital.
The fundraising campaign proved to be a real success.
Let’s see the numbers: from the original sum gathered during the 125 days of the campaign we have to play 250 Ron for the Association for Community Relations who run the program, and o, 14 euros after each sms for the mobile companies which leaves us 1100 euros for the project.
Besides the recently closed fundraising campaign we were also helped by the Run for it! fundraising campaign, where local companies and individuals offered their financial support for the Friendly Hospital program. For example organizers and participants of the Ice Hockey competition Winter Classic offered a sum of 3172 RONs.
