The 2022 BottleCapMOZAIC took place on June 1st, exactly on Children’s Day, and it couldn’t have been better timed. The atmosphere created by those excited students at the City Ice Rink was indescribable. There was no shortage of cap clinking and children’s frolics, and the result was 36 beautiful artworks.

Indeed, 36 teams put their “caps on” on Wednesday, so 360 children and their adult companions filled up the ice rink. This year, we thought that all the teams should get some environmental friendly experience in return for their work. So, in addition to the super event on Children’s Day, each team would take part in an e-bike tour, or a forest school, a paintball battle, escape room, or visit the Mini Transylvania Park, the Balu Adventure Park or a Petting Zoo.

Of course, there were 1st, 2nd and 3rd places this year as well.  In addition to the experience, each participant received a BottleCapMOZAIC water bottle as a gift. The second team received an ice cream voucher, while the members of the first team received a Rooster Box coupon.

The jury members were: Sarolta Balázs, Izabella Harmat Geréb, Levente Jakab, Tekla Magyari and Tímea Magyari. The criteria were aesthetics, teamwork, environmental protection, message, first impression, size and the results of the Fb-like competition.

The event is getting more and more popular every year, the interest, the number of teams, and the amount of caps are also increasing. Nearly 800 kg of caps were collected at the 2022 BottleCapMOZAIC, which will all be recycled.

We are really thankful for all the students, for their enthusiasm, and for the energy the teachers invested in this project.

Thanks again, we couldn’t have pulled this off without you, you’re the main reason we were able to achieve such a beautiful result, which serves the local community and our environment as well.
