The Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation supports different community movements within the “Small Rural Communities in Action – ProActive Rural” project. On the 19th of February, 2022, a community meeting took place in Chinusu, where a new community space was presented by the initiative group. A multifunctional community space was envisioned, where children, youngsters and grandparents can have some fun. The works will start with landscaping, followed by fencing, then the installation of various playground elements, benches, table tennis accessories and some other equipment.
The local initiative group discussed the project details, which was accepted by those present, and in fact their commitments was already outlined as well. There were locals who have taken on the project, some who are willing to do the landscaping, some who will design the wooden elements, and others who are going to do the painting. The grandparents will take on the role of hosts. The grand opening is planned for June 2022.
The meeting ended with another cool team-building game.
