Science is enjoyable. The „Heureka” program (STEM) of Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation wants to encourage this, among the students from V to XII classes in Odorhei region. In 2017 the OSCF started this grantmaking program with this goal. In the framework of the first application round 8 projects got grant.
Interconnection of the science and the technology builds the future. Today’s ideas can be the future’s innovations. Young people are open, curious and enthusiastic about these subjects, if they get the right opportunity and encouragement for the creative work. This program aims to create such opportunities for them. That’s why the Foundation decided to share the results of the first applications with the wider community in an event.
The students implicated in the 8 supported projects will present what they worked, what they learnt, why they were able to enjoy this learning process. The event will be on 13 December at 5 pm in „Haáz Rezső” Museum. There will be presentations in topic of astronomy, photography, 3D printing, Lego robots, VR glasses, but those interested can see physical experiments, they can view the tangible products of electronics and the computer games designed by students too. Not only presentations will take place, but it will be possible to try what the students have worked on.
We look forward to all interested!
