Berlin, 20-26th of November 2016

We arrived to Berlin in the company of two young people from the program Build your future! for the final event of the international entrepreneurial program. With the participation of young entrepreneurs, trainers and project managers from the eight partner countries – Croatia, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Romania, UK – we have presented the results of the program in the last two years and we also did planning for continuing it.

Berlin is famous not only for its many attractions, but also has a leading position in Europe in launching 80 start-ups per year. We have visited three: one co-working space, one community garden and a restaurant.

We also happily reported about that 20 local participants of the program with a clear vision for their future from out five young people have started already a business. They try to be innovative in the following areas:

  • manufactured beanbags,
  • preparation and distribution of biscuits without artificial additives,
  • to reduce the energy demand of buildings through heating and electrical system,
  • production and distribution of wine dispensers to restaurants,
  • collection and processing of local medicinal plants.

The next step of the program is to support the start-ups above with the mentorship of local entrepreneurs.
The european coordinator of the program is the International Academy of Berlin (Berlin International Academy – INA) and the International Resource Centre (YEPP). The program is funded by the European Union Erasmus + program.
