The check-in time of runners for this year’s Run for IT! has come to an end. A record number of runners (235) will participate in the fundraising sport event. The runners will stand up for one of the 20 local initiatives by running a 1.3 km distance long route as many times as possible.
This is how it works. A donor (a legal person or a company) will offer an amount, 5-10 RON or more for every completed circle by the runner. For example if a runner will complete the route 3 times, and s/he has a donor who has offered 5 lei for every completed circle, the local initiative for whom the volunteer is running will receive an amount of 15 RON. A donor is able to provide a firm offer as well.
