The Community Card programme has got a new dimension in frame of Romanian NGO Funds coordinated by Norway Funds and Fundația pentru Dezvoltarea Societății Civile (FDSC).
The main objective of the project will be implemented through a series of activities related to dissemination of information to other Community Foundations about the opportunities embedded into Community Card Programme, to assistance in the integration process of the cards to the local entrepreneurs from the targeted regions, and in the same time related to mentoring activities of the project partners in the process of community mobilisation for collecting donations and decision making on the use of collected money.
In frame of the project launched at 1st March, 2015 the implementation of the activities is based on the cooperation amongst the Community Foundations from Odorheiu Secuiesc, as coordinator of the project, Bacău, Iași, Prahova, Oradea and Ferencváros (Hungary). By extending the geographic area of the card’ use we hope to sensibilize a number of 850.000 local people, 30 NGOs from which 16 to get financial support accounting an amount of 60.000 RON for their submitted project ideas.
The amount of money specified above will be allocated mainly to develop the NGO sector and will be collected in frame of the actual project.
