With support from the Community Foundation Odorheiu Secuiesc the “Walk barefoot in the park” project was born. The initiative originated from physio-therapist Tímea Kerekes, while it’s implementation was executed by Odorhei Youth Forum, they were the ones to obtain financial support through the crewdfunding site www.give-get-do.ro of OSCF.
“Walk barefoot in the park” was built with the help of over 50 volunteers with about 20 hours of community work. The walkway is 118 meters long and is made of stone, wood, gravel, corn and other materials – specifically built to be traversed barefoot.
For the implementation of the idea the Odorhei Youth Forum raised € 400 through the Community Foundation’s crewdfunding site.
