The atmosphere was amazing Thursday night at the event. The hybrid mode was a really new experience even for us, as so far the Donor Circle use to be either an in-person or an online event. This year, the Charitable Community and the Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation celebrated their 4th birthday with this fundraising event, which ended up with a very uplifting feeling.

We have already reported that this year, the Charitable Community had to select three out of the 9 local projects that would have a chance to participate at the Donor Circle. Attila Szabó, a communication specialist, helped to prepare the project owners to present their initiative with a very high-quality presentation.

Looking at the results of the evening, it is confirmed that the Charitable Community made a good decision, as all three winning projects significantly exceeded the planned target amount in fundraising. Donors indicated their donor intentions not only on the event, but also during the online broadcast.

Attila Péter’s project „Who do you see in the mirror?” received a grant of 8,700 RON instead of a planned 5,000 RON. The Purplepoint Association’s initiative „I Guess … (Autism Crumbs)” raised a donation of 12,099 RON instead of the planned 6,000 RON. The „Küküllő-shore Kalaka” is the BILT Group Corp LTD’s initiative. The planned budget for this project was 8060 RON, but by the end of the evening, 12,000 RON was raised at the event.

These amounts, and the feedback after the gala event, all prove that community development is very important in our city, there are initiatives that cover a gap area that in this field, and can further develop our community, environment. We would like to thank all the donors for their support.

We thank the project owners, Attila Szabó the host, the ambassadors and the volunteers of the event for their dedicated work, because without them this would not have been possible!

We are absolutely grateful to the companies that contributed to the evening with their work and products and helped the participants to have a wonderful time during the gala event. We are grateful to the Big Wine and Páva Restaurant as well for contributing to this wonderful and absolutely succesful event.

All the supporters who did not have a chance to pai their donations during the event, can do so online until May 28th at the link below or in person at the OSCF office. If you would like to support any of these 3 projects as a company, please let us know by e-mail at bernadett@szka.org by May 28th.
