Schools’ Gate Association was established to help the education of children and adults from Máréfalva (Satu Mare) and nearly region.

The association runs programs in and beyond the school. Part of this offer support for adult people involved in the Second Chance program (in this program participate those people who couldn’t finish the primary school).
The association got his first grant from Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation trough the Good Idea Fund. The title of the grant is: Lifelong Learning. The association with the help of the English teacher, Tánczos Gyöngyvér got a learning kit which includes English books and compact discs.
The implementation period of the project was from 15 October to 30 December 2011. In this period the learning kit have used by the people from the Second Chance program. The program will be followed by English language training for the school’s personnel at the beginning of 2012.

The association together with the school in Jimbolia has a plan to organize a summer camp in 2012.
