Almost 400 bikers took part on the march organized by FCOS at 15 April to raise awareness on the problem of safety of bikers in Odorheiu Secuiesc.
Before the march the first 200 registered participants received a T-shirt with the logo of the Velo Academy. Start was given at 5 PM, bikers started from the David Ferenc Park guided by volunteers crossed the city to arrive at the Central Park, where bikers raised their bicycles in the air in order to raise attention on the safety of bikers on the roads. After the event participating children had the chance to learn about the rules of traffic on a polygon specially constructed by the volunteers of Seller Taker organization, and had a chance to try the games offered by the volunteers of the Green Seklerland organization.
The bicycle march was organized as part of the traffic educational program Velo Academy, supported by Switzerland through the Swiss support for extended European Union with a grant of 56086,75 CHF, of the total budget of 62.318,75 CHF.
