Merkur, the Seklerland store chain has been supporting children and young people in a variety of sports activities of five years. The development of the program required the aid of the professional development, such as Mercur, the Seklerland Chain Store invited the Odorheiu Secuiesc Community Foundation to lead the program. The 50,000 lei (aprox. 11,300 EUR) grant funds have jointly put together 30,000 lei from Merkur and 20,000 lei from the Community Foundation, this one from the community fund generated by the usage of community card.
This program is addressed to NGOs from Odorheiu Secuiesc and Odorhei region which has regular sport activities.
The overall objective of this grant program: to encourage children and young people between the ages of 6-14 to exercize sport regularly and in group.
Deadline for submission the applications is 22 May 2015.
Applications will be evaluated by an evaluation committee composed from reprezentatives of Merkur and OSCF and a sporting man.
