The Community Foundation started in January a special training program for graduation in Romanian language and literature and mathematics. 10 high school students are participating in the program continuously. This number allows effective collaboration between students and teachers and customized training programs to their individual needs. The results obtained in the trial-examination in March demonstrate the success of the program: comparison with results from last year’s, average grade high school students shows an increase of 0.90 points in Romanian language and literature, and 1.50 points in mathematics.
To start this educational program for us was an important criterion the methodological and formal harmonization of training classes on both topics. However, it was important considerations for students to demonstrate their dedication. The group members were selected based on an examination. It was not an exclusion criterion the weaker performance of students. We built on what they knew and we developed personalized training program based on students’ needs.
There are developed educational materials in document format and video format too on the student’s disposal. These materials are the result of persistent, professional and creative work of the teachers: Ambrus Hajnalka and Bíró Albert.
Our teachers help the students with information for further study and development of mutual relations.
